12m core GTS kite...

arrived to see someone out on 9m but the wind seemed to be dropping off so rigged the 12 and headed out, tide was low so walked over first sandbar and launched from there,

wind was a bit up and down so warmed up with some nice speed runs and a few jumps etc.

as the wind picked up I headed over to Aberdovey and hacked up wind to the house that's on the island at entrance to aberdovey, I spotted a small sandbar out in the estuary and headed to that, landed and walked over approx. 30 ft of sand to a huge lagoon, from which I hacked up wind again and this time the lagoon near dovey had a small 2 ft sand bank but went over to be met by a 10 ft wall of sand, played for about two hours in the lagoon, and with the wind rising , I heeded back fully depowered by now and luckily had some one to catch the kite.

it was then I noticed how cold it was

I did have 3/5 suit boots/gloves and neo beanie on

great afternoon sail
